Oldschool PC games, post your faves!
Whn I say oldschool, I'm going pretty far back. Post your faves, and what you played them on (if you can remember)

Impossible Mission
GI joe
Stunt car Racer (or was it stunt car driver?)
Realms of Impossibility (I think that's what it was called)
Ultima 4
Ghostbusters

Transformers (that might have been on Amiga or somethign else)
Defender of the Crown (same)
Syndicate (amiga)
Xcom (amiga)

Bard's Tale (amiga)

That's all I can think of for now, maybe some other posts will jog my memory

As far as I can remember, the oldest game I ever played on the PC was a game called "Mickey's ABCs" - it was a really terrible DOS game that was basically a power point slideshow with PC speaker sounds.

The first game that I remember enjoying was definitely Oregon Trail. I can't remember what the platform was called, but it used huge floppy disks.

Dungeon Master for the Amiga was my first 3D RPG and I thought it was amazing back then.

There was a game that came in boxes of Chex serial, Chex Quest or something like that. I remember playing that game a lot, and for a free FPS from a cereal box it was pretty effing fantastic.

Archon
M.U.L.E.

Atari 800

I actually think they should port M.U.L.E. to WiiWare and let Wii peeps play online.

Ahh yes... the days of the 5 & 1/4 inch floppys.

I played a couple of old games off of those.

Ladder(a game similar to the original Donkey Kong -- minus the gorilla trying to prevent you from getting to the top and the princess to rescue.)

Horse Race(you placed bets on which one of nine famous horses would win a race -- learned that in computer games, Seabiscuit sucks the big one.)

Alien(pretty much the same as Space Invaders)

All of these on a Kaypro(which was so old the only color available for the game graphics was green)
