Luckily people are/have already cracked it as the OS restrictions were not hardcoded into the game. Same with Shadowrun.

Sad sad Microsoft.... I won't upgrade to Vista just to play Halo 2, You s**ks Microsoft, Go to hell ! I would have loved to play halo 2 on PC because I don't like played FPS on a console, I mean... wtf ? I can't just imagine playing CS with paddles.... It's too slow movement for me. And now, Halo2 is for Vista only... That SUCKS !

Ya I have to agree...I was going to buy an XBOX360 for halo series and then I heard about halo 2 coming out for PC, I was all set to buy it and then read this thread, now I would rather buy a Wii and a PS3 just to spite microsoft

i just refuse to buy a $600 (i know it droped down recently) gameing console with none of the cool new games designed to come out making a glorified blu-ray player. and im just waiting for sony to ruin blu-ray just like they did with betamax vs vhs
