I have two users in my Applicants list and I'm trying to promote them to Members but everytime I click accept the page goes away and nothing happens... they are still unable to see my member forums.

I don't know how there system works but if you are still having this problem there is probley a bug in the system but it may of been for that time. Have you tryed again since then?

I also have some applicants that I wish to promote to member status. I have accepted the applications but am unable to do change their rank. Will there be a solutioon soon before I get more applications?

After accepting the applicant:

1. Select the "Members" tab (if it isn't already)
2. Click on the name of the member
3. From the menu that follows, select the new rank you'd like to give them from the drop-down list

(Note: to do this you need to be a rank of "Configure" or "Change Member Rank" yourself, or be the leader of the group.)

I'll drop you a PM as well to see if there's a problem blocking you that isn't helped by these instructions.

I'm having the same problem. After accepting members, it continues bringing me to the accept member page when I click on the name, with no option to change rank (though changing the rank of current members works fine).

So, any word on being able to make applicants into full fledged memgers? The accept member button just doesn't do anything.

I think im being a bit dumb but how do i promote myself to top rank? Or other people for that matter? Can't figure it out

OK, thought I was bein stupid or something .. but I am having the same problem as everyone else promoting an applicant!
Tarinth I followed your instructions but after clicking accept it does absolutely nothing!! This is quite frustrating. Now .. I have not as yet tried using IE but Firefox is my browser of choice.

Help Please

I worked around it by rejecting applicants, then adding them manually, at which point they are members. But yeah, this would be a nice fix to implement.
