HDTV and PC
I'm looking to setup my pc to my 32in lcd hdtv. I have a 7800gtx with the vivo cable adapter. I'm currently using the component cables since i can't find my s-video cables. Running windows vista and will be trying xp pro hopefully tonight.

what happens is if i put the res to 1080i the desktop doesn't fit the screen and the refresh rate is a little off, kinda wavy. I'll try xp pro and see if that makes a difference since i can't get the drivers to load on vista for some reason atm. But has anyone hooked up their pc to an hdtv and work the way they wanted it to? Looking for a little guidance on this since i'm new to hdtv.

Well Xp worked well and allowed me to change the desktop size. 720p was the best looking of it all. I just need to find some decent vista drivers that will allow me to change the desktop edges now.
