Heroes! Oh how I love this show.

For all of you who have "missed" it ()....

Heroes is a new TV show which launched last year in the US on NBC. The series centres around ordinary people who discover they have special abilities. The story follows these people as they try to cope with their powers in every day life. As easy and cool as it may sound, one does not simply wrap a cape around his neck and take off. Some of them try to explore their abilities, while others try their best to hide them. These complete strangers are being drawn together, their paths crossing, yet unaware of eachother, unaware of what awaits them.

Sounds cheesy doesn't it? But I guess that's it in a nutshell. I guess it's a bit comparable to X-Men, but way way before the silly outfits and over the top action. Heroes isn't action driven. It's very much character and story driven. Which is why I think it's an amazing show. I watched the first episode which had me thinking "hmmm, ok, maybe." At episode 5 I was completely hooked. Ever since the xmas break after episode 11 i've been shaking in anticipation of tonight, when heroes continues. Hiro, the nerdy Japanese clerk, is an absolutely genious character. But all of the characters are worked out so well.

I think it's brilliant. Can't wait for 12.... Anybody else following this series?

I was hooked as soon as I met Hiro. Great show, lookin forward to tonight.

I do loathe the fact that heroes and 24 are on at the same time though, time to go out and get tivo.

25 minutes to Heroes here. I can't wait. Making us wait until January 22 for the show to return was outright cruelty.

Favorite Hiro line from the last show:

Lol he was great on the premier when talking to Petrelli, the whole "quiet down" thing.
