Which is the best FPS game.
I really don't care what games you put down.
But my votes for The Halo Series
Or Call of Duty Series

Personally I love Duke Nukem 3D.
I have yet to buy it for XBLA, so I haven't played it for a while, but it was my favourite game (no matter the genre) for a looong time.
Even after Quake was released I kept on playing DN3D, never really got into the Quake series because of it.

After that I got hooked on Unreal Tournament.
UT2004 is good as well, but UT3 just isn't as much fun for some reason.
I'm not sure where the series is heading.

wolfenstain 3d (yes i'm that old)
CoD serial
Star Wars Republic Commando
MoH serial
and many many more

Halo probably isn't the best (by far), but for me it's the been the most fun. Especially since I don't like shooters to begin with.

That and Duke Nukem 3D cuz the game had dirty vids in it.

For me it would be the Battlefield 1942 series, to include the Modern Combat mod. The ability to use any weapon and vehicle in game without the need to "unlock" them. Kills are based on your skills alone.

As I've said before, it never gets old.

In no particular order, I would have to rate the following games as the best FPS titles:

Call of Duty 4
Goldeneye
Halo series

Quick question: Why did someone list Burnout Paradise as one of the best FPS titles?
