another annoying bug, which affects the site greatly.
whenever i am to visit the site's https page [such as account management pages], i get a browser warning about page being delivered both by https and http. ofc, this breaks the security of the page, and browser always warns me about it. now, since some browsers have no option to turn that behavior off, and the frequency of such pages on this service is high [almost any user input is done through a https page], having the textbox window requiring my input every single time i try do something here is annoying and displeasing, consuming my energy directed toward contribution. usually, u can dismiss those warnings by telling a browser to ignore non-https content on a page, and it does the same automatically with all future https pages in that tab... however, this doesn't work on gDNA, and making such choice breaks the page completely and renders it unusable. this situation forces u to dismiss the warning every time and load both https and http content, just to face the same warning when u go to next page, over and over again. one word - annoying! my suggestions r:
in any case, the current operational logic is broken in its core, and i urge that the site needs a fix for this. it not only looks as an unprofessional coding, it annoys ur users very much, probably making ppl believe the service is dieing or whatever. |
