MW2 hacked - Patch in works
Just recently there has been news on a new hack going around Modern Warfare 2. For each kill you get, you receive however much negative xp the hacker has placed it on. As you can see in this youtube video, people receive -5,000,000 XP for each kill they get. What sucks is that these guys thought they were being boosted to 10th prestige, instead they get to sit back and cry because they now have level 1's again.

Hey that's what you get when you try and cheat. But that's not the worse of it, IGN report's that there are gamers posting on the official modern warfare 2 website that 10th prestigers have walked out of there spawn and literally let them kill them. They felt it was kind of fishy, but it was too late. They had already killed the enemy team and gone down to level 1 again.

Just reading fourzerotwo's blog and he has posted saying that they recently patched the PC version of Modern Warfare 2. It includes a patch for this new hack that gives negative XP.

"Fix to prevent various XP hacks, including the prevention of obtaining negative XP."

He then stated this comment below the PC announcement, "These fixes, excluding the ones Iíve labeled as (PC-ONLY), are currently in test for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions as well. Before you ask why there is a delay from PC to consoles, itís because we can update IW-NET directly and therefore the fastest. The console versions require additional testing through their respective manufacturers."
