So this was supposed to be the most amazing experience ever. The SciFi event of the year... The rollercoaster experience you HAD to see in 3D and of course preferably Imax.

Well. I was disappointed. Anybody else seen it?

I don't think any of my friends were particularly impressed neither... One fell asleep, another enjoyed the pretty pictures, a third did a bit of both.

Although one (who went on another day) really loved it. The world, the lore, the graphics and stuff...

But me, I was not impressed at all. Sure the 'new 3D' is gorgeous and worked great for this film, but without an original story there's not much point in making a scifi... Or dialogue for that matter, even Jennifer's Body had better dialogue than this movie...

I wasn't hyped... But I did expect some decent Scifi from James Cameron... The Abyss, Terminator, Aliens? All good scifi with memorable scenes, characters, dialogue, music and endings... This piece of shit seemed to be some sort of Pocohantos / Last Samurai rip off with an Idols winner theme song...

The CGI / 3D was absolutely fantastic, and worked really well for the movie... But the story and characters just ruined it =/
