lookin' for a good'un

i'm looking for a good 3rd-person RPG that will let me use whatever weapon and element i like and custom my character(name, gender, etc...), and let me choose my path

my systems are PS2/PS3, DSLite and Wii

it doesnt have to be anything recent btw, but try to keep it to a T-rating Maximum
any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

For the PS3 if you love to grind then get Cross Edge. If you like anything like FF Tactics the get Disgaea 3. If you can get a 'M' game aim for Demon's Souls it comes out 10-6-09 and looks great.

Cross Edge on PS3 huh? i'll be sure to look it up...
((i still have to buy my PS3, but am close to sales price in my savings))
and i never played FF tactics

also, it may look good, but i always, on my own whims, avoid M games, due to what you could call 'personal reasons' but mroeso i just dont like how free with language they can get, thus T is usualy as high as i'll go

I understand your reason for not like Mature games.

FF Tactics is kind of like chess so if you're not a fan of chess then Disgaea and others might be a turn off.

Cross Edge would be your better bet for an RPG on a PS3.

Chess is okay, even though i'm not really good at it.

and yeah, i dont like how free some games can get with language, so i usually stick to teen wheen the language is mild at worst.

i've read a review on Cross Edge, sounds worth trying, really has KH feel to it tough, but that really doesnt surprise me, can tell ya, i'll play it begin-to-end and then give a rating & review here on GamerDNA...
but it may be novemeber before i can do so...((still gotta save money for the system))
