Battlefield 1943
There's a new arcade game on XBL called Battlefield 1943. completely MP and wondering how everybody feels about it?
personally I think its really good. a lot like Bad Company 2 with destructable environment and how the guns feel. |

More like Bad Company is like Battlefield 1943. It's a remake of a FPS that came out in the early 00's called Battlefield 1942, and if it's anything like 1942, it's awesome.

It's quite fun and I really enjoy playing. I have it for the PS3, although the voice is glitchy when you have more then 2 people in your squad, but I think that's only a PS3 problem. According the the "official" Battlefield 1943 Twitter "PS3 Mic Issue Is Being Looked Into".

I'm playing it on Xbox LIVE. It's the same gameplay as the MP in Battlefield: Bad Company. Substitute the helicopter for a plane, substitute Russians for Japs, add capture the flag, and you're playing 1943.
I'm enjoying it. |

This game is fun, but the squad and chat for the ps3 total sucks. You set up a squad and you may or may not be in the same squad with your friends and you may also be on the opposite team. And chat is iffy at best.
But all in all its a fun game, I'd just enjoy it more if I could hear my friends laughing at me every time I died, which is way to often. |

It looks and plays great. The controls feel more comfortable than BF:Bad Company.

It is only an arcade but i agree with you. I know it just came out but i would like a new map or two and a new gun class.

I played the trial, it was pretty good actually. First time I tried it was like LAG but I gave it a second chance and it ran perfectly. I'm not gonna buy it though, I have Battlefield: Bad Company and it seems like the multiplayers are very similar, I'd feel I was buying something I already owned.
