I know this is kinda old news in the Xbox world, but I was just wondering, since this is a cross-platform site, if others were interested or excited about the upcoming re-release of this classic game?

I spent sooooo much money playing this game in the arcades, but I never played it on the Sega Dreamcast (didn't have one), PS2, or Xbox. It'll be nice to finally play it again (in the comfort of my living room).

I downloaded the demo on PSN. Fun stuff, I wouldn't buy it though. I'm not a huge fan of those games.

I downloaded the demo and now I'm patiently waiting for it to be released fully.

Bad news... it's been officially delayed until late July/early August.

"No official release date for MVC2 as of yet. Digital release dates can be tricky. Do not expect before end of July, tho."

The official release date was announced today --- July 29, 2009.
