Fudge
I have to ask - with a forum like this, it is required.

Is anyone else here familiar with the interesting/fantastic system known as Fudge?

I suppose it is less of a full game (or the argument can be made), but almost like a toolset for creating quick, simple tabletop games. It is also extremely light weight. I ran a game using it a few months back that went fairly decently as well.

I've never actually played FUDGE, although I know a lot of people who mention it as an under appreciated title.

Edit: I remember actually looking at this a LOONNG time ago. Steffan O'Sullivan is pretty cool in my book for replying to my emails regarding just very broad topics about getting into publishing.

Too bad I still need to get off my ass (10 years later) and write something unique lol.
I noticed the system has an SRD now too....will definitely give it a thorough look since I'm a fan of open-sourced RPG rules.

The system has actually always been free. It was created via a Usenet group and one of the conditions Steffan O'Sullivan insisted upon when he was getting it published, is that it must always be available online for free.
