How to change files format?

I need to do this to upload screenies from game I am and have been playing for the last 7 months.

I've tried right clicking on photoes and the file folder itself.

Right clicking on photo then left click properties only lets me choose a program to use to open it. I tried most of those, no help.

When right clicking on the folder, then left click on properties. I see format. No option to change it.

Pls help me.

Ok I finaly remember how to change them. Tried it and find it works still.

I'm personally a big fan of IrfanView.
It's a pretty basic program that is easy to use, but which still has a surprisingly nice set of features.
