There's still plenty of room for gamer theory and concept discussions, among other intelligent conversations. Having forum games should in no way inhibit such intelligent discussion. All you have to do is make the post initiating it and I'm sure people will join in.

It's easier to understand what he means if you picture EAC as the guy who goes to the same local coffeeshop each morning, and suddenly discovers it's been turned into an emo beat-poetry cafe.

I'd also like to point out that this thread is 12 pages long (And no one is spamming song names), it was started by a guy who told everyone to fuck off, that they sucked and that he was too good for them. Make of it what you will.

I don't mind them that much TBH, except for the fact that Hodge Podge isn't Hodge Podge anymore. They should have a separate forum where post count is turned off, that way you won't have people spamming the shit out of it, we might get some quality forum games that are actually fun to participate in. Like the one where our friend posted a picture of a chinaman eating dead baby soup.

There are many such threads in the forums, such as discussions abut MMORPGs, old school games, favorite RPGs or FPSs, what makes a good game, Sega vs.N64, Sony vs. Nintendo. Those are just on Today's Posts. There are many, many more in other forums. It's also extremely easy to start a new thread and IMO, I would love to have more threads to post in. I love it when it takes me three hours to get through all of the Today's Posts threads.
