@ Forum Nazis
It's sad when people are driven off by constant moderation because opinions don't conform to the carebear community you seek to craft. What was once a site founded by respected PvPers to retain friendships has devolved into nothing more than a generic fansite targeting the casual of casual. Keep it up; soon you'll be devoid of any thought or intelligence as the mouth-breathers invade and feed your pursuit of statistics. It's clear to me your audience is nothing more than numbers to you, like the way we read how many were killed in Iraq today. It's too bad Sanya didn't stick around; she is a classy lady and knows how to stroke an epeen just the right way.
I'm done here. /ragequit |

Why don't you just play a forum game? There are like ten of them going on right now.

Hey, I'll be the first to admit that I don't like what they're doing with the forums/community. But then, that has always been something of a secondary feature here, the vocal minority if you will, so what can you expect? Atleast they roll out cool features every month.
And if that's not your thing, why not repeatedly say "Hello new guy" to the new guys in the new guy forum? |

We aim to attract a large variety of people, and if that includes casual gamers, it's all the better. Ultimately gamerDNA aims to be a website for all gamers to have their gaming identity online. A gaming identity that can follow you every where on the web, that helps you keep track of what you and your friends are playing, discover new games, etc. As the community has grown and the company grows and changes, rules need to change along with them. We've put up forum rules last fall for everyone to follow and they will be enforced. Rules that should never take away from intelligent discussions...quite the contrary infact. Those rules are put together to try to get rid of a lot of discussions that are going to take away from the community and ultimately tear it apart, not strengthen it. Considering that gamerDNA, out of all of our competitors, is the only company that employs a Community Manager (that's me!) to think about the community and represent it every single day..then I think it's safe to say we DO care about community. The gamerDNA community is VERY important to us and it is crucial to our success. After all, if no one is here, how is that in our favor? ![]() I think you see our commitment to community reflected in all the updates we put out, in our Member Newsletters, our constant interaction with the community, events that we put on, and the features that we implement later this year. If you're looking for a forum for unmoderated discussions where you can flame eachother then gamerDNA isn't really the right place for that. If that means you have to leave, then that's just the way it's going to be. We don't like to see members go, but we also can't have people breaking our forum rules. Thanks, Sam Houston gamerDNA Community Manager |
