Actually I never use Xfire to start my games.
I always use desktop shortcuts, or Steam in case of Steam games, and gDNA picks up everything just fine.

I'm pretty sure gDNA reads Xfire data from the Xfire website, so it shouldn't matter how you started your games.
Unless I'm mistaken, it's your Xfire installation that isn't properly logging your data.
