There are a few methods from what I can tell of a quick google search.

This one is from the official boards so it might be the most effective or at least the least likely to destroy your computer/give you viruses but your choice to try it out is still entirely yours:

As for controlling SC with it, I don't recall SC have built in game controller support so not only would you need to go through the steps to get your computer to recognize your ps3 controller, and not only does the controller have to be wired from what I can tell, but you'll still need to track down some program that can force SC to read the controller inputs. Good luck. I got a wireless receiver for my xbox controller a few months ago on sale and I still haven't managed to get xpadder to work with it.

Anything is hackable!

A quick search through Google shows that the easiest way to do this is to buy a PS Controller-USB adapter, such as these:

http://www.gameexpress.com/product_d...C=837742005631
http://www.xgamegear.com/cvtps2usb.html

As for Starcraft (or anything else for that matter) to recognize the controller, that would be harder. I'll search some more and see if I can find it.

On a side note, why do you want to do this? I have a suspicion your a prankster. Which motivates me to search harder.

I hope you are not going to play MP with your PS3 controller, at least I hope you are not planning on winning with it.
