They're all pretty great...

I love IX because it was the final send off for the old ways of the series.
X had amazing post game content.
XII was incredibly vast and very open...
XIII had me more emotionally invested in the characters than any others.
VII and the materia system was top-notch.
V with it's almost limitless job leveling.
VI for it's true perception of a psychopathic megalomaniac.
VIII invented Emo Hipsters before Emo Hipsters knew they were a thing.

The list goes on... I can find redeeming qualities in every single one of them that makes them all worth your time.

I can't stand the original anymore... Too much waiting for cycles in battle... I like the remake more, even though they cut the difficulty down.

My favorite was IX. I loved the character selection and the ending made me cry. As cliche as it is, I'd have to say VII is a close second. The story was outstanding and the music was excellent! Not to mention Vincent<3 ;]

IX was also my personal favourite, once again though, I can see the redeeming qualities in every single one of them.
