PS:T I loved but never got to finish it (can't get it to run on my pc anymore either), big fan of baldurs gate 2 as well as neverwinter nights.
Morrorwind, Oblivion and Fallout 3 really managed to pull me into the game and give me the feeling i'm the actual character.

My favourite console RPG's are Final fantasy 6, Chrono trigger and several others like Wild arms which i liked a lot. Final fantasy 9 has special place in my heart cause it is the gmae that really pulled me into the series.

Honestly speaking its final fantasy X but..i can't really pin point any other one to put over that, however 7 is quite the mega game itself. After all i did beat 7 (7 times), and X (5 times), so 7 got the edge by 2 extra plays. Now then considering my love for RPG it would prob go to Lost odyssey as a all time figure but still X stands out

I like the whole fallout series, not BOS
I actually can't wait for Skyrim, I think I like anything by Bethesda and Obsidian.

the 2 rpg's you listed i've never had the pleasure of playing but i've heard great things about them.

my favorite rpg of all time Hmmm.... i have to say golden 2 the lost age on the Gameboy advance. some might think because it a hand held game it is lacking but when those mind twisting puzzles hit u and the hours of grinding to beat a boss who kicks ur ass and sends u back to train sinks home there is know sweeter guilty pleasure.

Lufia 2 SNES was one of my favorite games of all time! Awesomely fun. Golden sun 1 and 2 for GBA. Final Fantasy Tactics....but thats kind of a hybrid RPG/Strategy.

You should try out The Witcher, probably one of the most underrated games of all times. It's amazing! great fantasy world, mature plot with moral choices, AND it's done by the Polish. What else could you wish? =)
