Thumbs down PS3 Trophy Trouble
Has anyone been having this problem recently?

I'm just played through a game that I downloaded (Burnout Paradise), and earned a few trophies for it. In fact, most of the trophies that I have are from games that I downloaded and bought from the PlayStation store. However, when I try to sync them with my online profile, I'm unable to do so because the sync operation always ends after a minute with an error (80022D05).

There's been stories of a bug in the trophy system going around where your trophy data gets corrupted from changing your PSN password, though some people have the same problem regardless of whether or not they did. Sony is working on patch, but as of now, your best bet (if you really want trophies) would probably be to delete your game data (the install files) and use the PS3 backup option to backup everything.

Thanks, but what happens if I don't have enough room on my flash drive to store everything? I have an 8GB Flash drive, but my backup requires about ten.

Maybe just transfer some files to your computer?

Tried that, and I think it worked. Funny thing is, the backup file was way smaller than I expected.
