Are there any readers here?

I just finished a book, Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. And I have to say, it's probably the best book I've ever read. If you like to read, I'd recommend you read this book.

Anyways, who else enjoys reading, and what books do y'all like?

I read just about anything (although reading has taken a back seat to my fervent game playing for the last couple of years). Mostly I read fantasy - but I love a good detective story too. The few series that I'm really into are the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher and the Discworld books by Terry Pratchett.

Yep, definite reader here. I read quite a number of different things. The genre I'm into most would be Sci-Fi(Star Wars EU, Dune series), though I can't go wrong with something humorous such as Get Fuzzy or Dilbert.

And on a personal side note, with this post I have come full circle.

Dude, I used to teach English...my life has been all about reading and writing for AGES!

Mostly now, though, I just read fast stuff, for nothing but the fun of it!!! I've been really into urban fantasy lately.

lol, I do that every once in awhile when I get bored of real books. Right now, I'm just about finished with A Wrinkle in Time. I never got to read that book when I was in elementary school. The only thing bad about books like that, is that you get through with them so quick.
