I heard a new permanent patch is coming for the 360 version to deal with exploits online.

I'm an Xbox 360 player of L4D and I love it.
Valve did a great job and will hopefully continue supporting this game with additional content.

Eh, I never have a problem shooting at other survivors.

Then again, I always play as Louis.

Louis tends to do a lot of yelling (when AI controlled), so I've never had issue with friendly fire.

Though, on the topic of the AI....they can be amazing thick when it comes to surviving. Especially in the last 2 campaigns. But I usually play online with other players, so that helps me avoid the issue altogether. But its still something that pisses me off watching the others wander off and essentially walk to their deaths for no apparent reason.

Non-game related: no mics. In a game where communication is paramount to surviving, its amazing how many folks will hop online without a mic, or are in a private shat (XBL) and don't leave for the course of the game. It's just idiotic to do; because they're often the players that have a nasty habit of soloing it, and getting swarmed.

I find it funny that Louis is the one that always says "Do I look like one of them?" Cause yeah, in the dark in my peripheral vision, he kinda does. I'm not sure what stereotype they should have used, but that "tall, lanky, form in the shadows" kinda looks like someone who should be shot.

I love this game for xbox 360, my friend has it for pc. He has been begging me to buy it, but for a game like that, i want a controller in my hands.

Dude me and my roommate got the game tonight and we've both been having the same problem. It's not just you, the guy always seems to be standing right their when I turn to look for zombies....and after I shoot I figure out it's Louis.

On a good note the patch for 360 is out. I haven't been on since then, but I am pretty sure they fixed all the object trappings. I really hope they have new maps soon, and hope that the survival mode they are coming out with will be good.

1. Needs more maps
2. Needs more campaigns
3. Weak story...Valve never picks it up after the opening cut-scene.
4. Waiting to be a zombie sucks!

Besides that it's all hunky-dory for me.

the developer said (or so i read in an article interview) that he left it open for possible sequels that discuss back story and to allow the persons mind to wonder and also so there wasnt any controversey about how all of it would make sense under any specific form of zombie outbreak infection parasitic etc.
