Hi there!

I'm Lake54, a teenager who does web design and management for low prices, works in a computer repair shop at weekends, and games the rest of the time ;-)

So, you want to know more about me? Check out my profile page, especially the attitude questions, which I've completed in full!

Now, to the main bit:

If you want a website FOR FREE at www.killermentality.com for your clan, I'll set up a clan CMS for you, a forum, and custom style.

All of it is FREE, and I take care of all behind-the-scenes stuff. There will be a few ads here and there supporting my own website, www.lake54.com, which will be completed soon. I would prefer to have a bigger clan use the site for obvious reasons, or a new clan could be set up with the name Killer Mentality - I don't mind which. Also bear in mind that it is better to have a web address that reflects your clan.

I am not advertising services, per se, but offering the chance for a clan to have their own full website, with basically no limitations.

This thread confuses me, but if I was looking for someone to design a site for me I would want to see examples of sites they have designed in the past. How did you come up with that domain anyway?

So I'm not the only one who thought it was strange they were advertising a free clan website at a site that hosts free clan websites?

Wow - didn't realise it was that odd. To answer your questions:

Only one clan can get the site, and it's not a subdomain or anything. So if you wanted it, you'd tell other clans etc the address was www.killermentality.com

I know this site has free clan hosting etc, but it's not quite the same as having your own site with a forum especially for you.

Regarding my 'expertise' with websites, I have developed themes for many CMS's, and am very competent running PHP/MySQL apps

About the address, a clan wanted a website for themselves, I offered my services, did the whole website and everything, then they decided they didn't want it because they weren't big enough yet. Yes they did pay, but only enough to cover the hosting fees.

Other features you get with the site include your own email, full forum, a custom theme for the CMS, and other things which I can't think of right now!

Yeah it certainly explains it, still, I don't think you're going to get alot of people who will name their clan Killer mentality (Atleast not a "big" one), just so that they can get a free website, atleast not when you're advertising it on a website which already offers free websites. Even if a "real" website is a better choice in the long run.
