Yeah I picked it up on steam on Monday when I saw it was 75% off. I figured even if I don't have a lot of music I can't pass up on a game that is that cheap and I was surprised and happy to see that it did have a few songs that I could download for free.

I actually don't have any cd's really. I've never been a big music guy and normally just listen to whatever is on the radio when I am listening to music. I did get a friend to give me some tracks to play around with in game though.

To be fair, it is a 46:13 song.
I lost interest at about the 40k pts mark, some few minutes in, and just left it on.
I only gained about 2k by the end.
I wonder how I lost.

Haha, that's a possibility. I thought I could handle a forty-some minute long song, but it was 7AM and I was close to passing out. Bad (and impaired) judgment on my part to try and take it on.

I've had similar kinds of Audiosurf challenges in other forums, but they died a silent death... I might play a song from here once in a while

I've tried lots of different genres and styles of music to play with, but the type that was the most fun to ride was big band swing surprisingly. Throw some Benny Goodman in there and see what that's like.

Audiosurf is a ton of fun, only problem I have is that a lot of my music doesn't work well with it. 15 minute Post-Rock songs and 8 minute ambient songs of just drone don't prove to be good surfing music. Go figure.
