What was the first VS (fighting) game you played?
My first was Yie Ar Kung-Fu on NES. Oolong kicked ass!

I think Street Fighter II on SNES, followed quickly by Mortal Kombat for SNES.

Yeah, SF2 was my first fighting game also. Kung Fu on the NES was good, but isn't that be a beat 'em up game?

I think you are thinking of Kung-Fu Master which is a beat-em up game. I was talking about Yie Ar Kung-Fu.

Boxing on the Atari 2600.
That game managed to be very fun to play.
(I'm watching a video review right now, over here.)
