FFTA and FFTA2 are my favorite just because I got so much more play time out of them compared to the others. As far as console FF's, I like 7 only because of the characters. As far as storyline goes, I liked 8 and 6.

FF6 is one of the best RPG stories ever written. Graphics be damned, that game will never be beat.
FF7 comes in a close second, followed by FF10.

Don't get me started on the FFMMO's. Unacceptable.

Why? I guess I'm getting you started :P

I love FF8, it is my favorite. But FF7 to me is the best. FF12, I'm not sure why they bothered releasing it. ><; I would have waited even longer for it if they had put in more story.

ethereal-wolf is an unknown quantity at this point
I liked 4 because it was the first one with an epic story, but still was a game at its core. 7 was a close second for me. i was disappointed with 8 because it was less challenging and was like passively watching a movie, instead of feeling like i was part of the story. i pretty much stopped playing ff after 8.

8 was definately my favorite one. It's also the only one that I was ever able to get into enough to keep playing after the end of the story.

I never actually finished 7, I lost my save right at the last boss and I did't like the game enough to play through it again. 9 seemed like someone pressed the easy button, I got through it in less than a week. 9 was a disapointment on alot of fronts. I don't ally like the level up system on X and X-2 was about the worst idea ever. I like alot of the early ones, I really like 1.

I loved Final Fantasy Tactics, but I'm gonna have to give it to Final Fantasy VII.

Seven was just amazing, and it's a shame that these new FF games suck now

That's a hard poll, lol. I went with FFVI, since it was my very first FF and I haven't been moved by another as I was by this one. But I love FF4, 7, 8, 9, Tactics and its not there but Crisis Core also blew my mind. Can't wait for the new batch of FFs coming up!

Mumbo has set foot on a distinguished road
No RPG has even come close to the level that VI went to for me. That is one of my all time favorite games out of any genre.
