Starflight is the first PC game I can recall playing and I still use it as a benchmark when I'm playing space games.

yeaaaa
Oregon Trail was cool. I used to like Dino Park Tycoon, and Super Munchers. As well as this one game called museum madness.

ethereal-wolf is an unknown quantity at this point
Wing Commander Privateer - 486 DX2-50 dos machine
Xcom UFO - 486 DX2-50
Ultima 6 - 486 DX2-50
Master Of Orion 2 - Pentium 100mhz win95 machine

My friend Nathan owned the 486 that I played most of these on, I was over at his house so much I was almost family. Games were cooler in the dos days.

Keen4, Wolfenstein, Duke Nukem, an old DOC miner game and Doom still occupy a good bit of my time.

Thread revival.

Too bad to see a thread like this die out, it has a nice list of retro games, and could serve as a reference to anyone who want to try retro-gaming.

For me:

-Jones in The Fast Lane
-The Lion King
-X-Men: Children of Atom
-Dinotopia
-Magic: The Gathering

Old School?
I remember 8 inch floppies.. that's how I got Zork for my TRS-80 model I.
I would mention the Star Trek game I played at the local community college, but that loaded on punch cards and was played on a Burroughs Mainframe...

Let's see.. most of the games I had for the TRS-80 were text based.. Monochrome green screen is not conducive to graphics.

For the Vic 20 I had, I only had Moon Lander, and a big pile of games I coded in myself, on tape.

Then there was an Atari 800
Donkey Kong
Pacman
Ms Pacman
Star Raiders
Most of the InfoCom games

Bleh.. now I feel old..
