Soul Calibur IV - Your thoughts?
What are your thoughts on Soul Calibur IV? We just received a review copy of the game in the office and I think it's time to check it out for a lunch time brawl session at gamerDNA HQ. Before we give our review, what are your thoughts on the game?

Same old same old, or is it actually pretty cool?

And finally:

Yoda or Darth Vader? Who would win in an SCIV fight?

The graphics look amazing however I heard the "Final Attack"(not sure what its called) is pretty stupid.
I will fully and always side with Vader.

I think its very good and I like the critical finishes. Story mode is really short and easy, but hey it's a fighting game.They help the match move quicker seeing as you can't block the whole time. I'm gonna have to go with Vader though I heard Yoda is so short that it always counts him as crouching and characters like Astaroth have a hard time with him.

I heard Yoda was sort of a cheap character since he's so short. I listen to the 1up Podcasts and they seemed to think that the game was good, just like past SC games with slight tweaks to some of the characters.

this game is ok the story is short and cheap but i guess if your a real fan you will find a reason to love it. yoda is cheap by the way

yoda is super cheap but the game is cool i like the fact that they brang back some old things from soul edge like the armor breaking and the soul crush although i like the old verson were if you block to much you would lose your wepon

it would be cool if you could lose your weapon imagine slashing the hell out of someone while they were trying to punch you lol

its crap, i didnt like it one bit. SC2 was amazing, they hit the nail on the head on that one, then they brag out 3, which was cool in all, the whole "create your character" thign was good. but 4 is crap, sure looks pretty, but then there's taht GTAIVexc thing about it which just doesnt make it like GTA at all, same with SC4. they almost got it, story mode was too short, going up and down tehtower was...well, boring. arcade mode was cheap. it wasnt in depth as it should of been. way too over hyped i think
