Clearly we must ask - PC or Console
Since we do not as of yet have separate forums, might as well know where the alliances lie =P

PC only. My kid has a Wii and I play with her sometimes.
The question is PRIMARY gaming system. You can put the rest in your post. |

PC, I used to be a console gamer untill my first MMO, then I realized what an awesome machine the PC really is. Social gaming ftw, even if you're not partying with your buddies ventrilo does wonderful things.

How come a few years ago suddenly lots of people got terribly confused and started believing consoles aren't computers any more?
Halo 3 doesn't run on magic, it runs on a computer. Open up your PS3, and you'll see computer guts. Stand close to the source of an EMP, and your iPhone will stop working. I am serious asking this question, why are consoles supposedly computers no longer for many? And to answer the question, it's a Windows PC, with an Xbox 360 as a secondary gaming system. Of course I also have access to a GC, PS2, DS, and ultimately I play where the games are fun, no matter the platform. |

I play on both 360 and PC. Mainly on 360 for most of the games I have played over the past year since I got it.
Of course PC still can't be beat for some of the classics(i.e., the Command & Conquer series[minus Renegade], Age of __________[fill in the blank] by Ensemble, SimCity series, pretty much ANY game released by Midas [a.k.a. Blizzard], Civ series). |

I used to be way into PC gaming, built my own rigs and whatnot. That was years ago. Now I know nothing about current hardware, as I gave up PC gaming when the Xbox 360 came around. 360 just sort of streamlined everything for me: all the games I want to play are on the 360, Xbox Live and the online community/downloadable content is great, and so on.
With PC gaming, all of my friends would want to get into things, play the same games, but they were PC illiterate. So what would happen was everyone would rely on me to get them set up with games, so we could play, but then during installs and gameplay, I encountered too big of a variety of errors on different PCs, some friends would always have to be excluded from a game because their computer couldn't handle it or it wouldn't run correctly, etc. Since the Xbox 360, we're all on the same page hardware wise, everything works, and so on. Xbox 360 FTW. |

Back in the day I was a PC gamer all the way...nothing was more enjoyable than jumping on Roger Wilko or TS with friends and have a blast playing hours of DF1 and DF2.
WWII Online was the last of my PC gaming days that came to an end back in 2006. I made the move to console gaming due to the fact that either my video card needed constant updating to play games or I had to make other adjustments/tweaks just to play a game. I'm pretty happy with where console gaming is currently at and looking forward to see where it will go in the future. |
