More casual, less hardcore - 43 and not enough time, keep getting pulled away from games by work, kids, wifey... so many things to do, and only one of me

more casual less hardcore (15 going to SCHOOL O.O)

BUT: wasn't that way it is now I remember a weekend (friday-saturday) I stayed at a friends home over night and took my PC with me (BIG PC with Monitor+Lan cable , keyboard and mouse) and we played from 2 o'clock afternoon to 8 o'clock morning NEXT DAY! all time Guild Wars doing much of these f***!** Hard-Mode territories and elite-territories (Underworld, domain of pain..) and after that hours I really thought: " ENOUGH!! " ^^ :P (but it was fun :P )

"More casual, less hardcore".

I spend the majority of my time gaming but when something comes up the games get ditched and I'm off to do god knows what. Whatever rl put in front of my face, that seemed important.

Anyways used to be a really hardcore gamer back in the days of Xbox Live but now I just use games as an outlet to get immersed in, kinda like books.

More hardcore, less casual.

Im extremely competitive and gaming is all I ever seem to do, BUT I wouldnt say Im 100% hardcore cause I cant commit the time I need to be truly hardcore at gaming.

Which is gay.lol.

I play a lot of cod4, but im not exclusive to it, i still like halo3 thats pretty much were i started my online gaming at so ill play it ever once in a while, but i like cod4 better.. i like winning, who doesn't, but its alright to loose, i won't flip out.. but unless its someone whos been talking junk in the lobby for no reason, i want to win that game; and when its done and were back in the lobby.. i dont say anything... i like that.. but anyway, i guess that would take me out of the "hardcore" and put me more hardcore, less casual.. ive been playing alot more though sense ive been unemployed..

Personally, I find that hardcore entails both time spent and the number of games played. It sounds a little bit elitist, but if you're just a Halo "gamer" who plays that all day long and has no idea that other games exist (Guitar Hero and Rock Band being exceptions), then you may be hardcore, but you are not a hardcore gamer.

I spend quite a bit of my freetime gaming, I game when I'm with most of my friends and I play a wide variety of games. To call myself casual would be a blatant lie, but to say that I'm outright hardcore isn't quite right either.

I picked it cause 50/50 wasn't an option. I play to win cus I like winning, but I also understand that its just a game. Some peeple start yelling at everybody as soon as they die cus its everyones fault except thier own. I die, I get res'd, I die again, its a cycle and part of the fun. lol

p.s.
the only reason I consider myself 50/50 now is becus my boss wont let me play at work. Other than that, Im leaning toward hardcore.

For me it really depends on the game, and the group that im in. If I enjoy both, I will get really into that game. If its like wow where I have a cool community but I'm tired of the game, im more casual about it.
