Circa 1991 -- this was an awesome game that could be played head to head with a null-modem cable! I spent hours and hours and hours and hours practicing landing... My first real flight sim!

My enthusiasm for video games didn't come from my father, who is actually equally enthusiastic about aircraft and flying.
He had F29 Retaliator on his computer, and I remember playing it there a number of times.
I loved shooting down stationary objects, like bridges, especially with the missiles with cameras in them.
I was playing more than I was flying, never became a good pilot, but it was still lots of fun.
