If it makes you feel any better, I've at least HEARD of the Channel F. Most primitive system I owned was a 2600 though.

I'm old enough to have played one, but if you can find a live specimen, it will be older than I am.
Actually if you find a specimen everybody will be old enough to have played it soon afterwards. My main system when I was young was the Atari 800 XL, though I'm pretty sure I played older systems before that. |

Never heard of that. My first was a NES.

I feel like there would be a market for kit computers again, especially for retrogaming - the designs of the old boxen are so primitive by today's standards, you could imagine putting together a bag of parts for assembly by the hobbyist, for fairly cheap.
The problem of course is that in a lot of cases the IP is owned by someone, not necessarily the original manufacturer, who probably has no interest in this. |

A system from the 70's. That would've been sweet to play back in the day. My first was a hand-me-down of the Atari 2600 from my grandpa in the 80's. Lol never knew he played video games. When the NES came out we went halfs on the system. He would come over during family get togethers and pwn everyone at Duck Hunt. Good times.

Atari 2600 was my first. I've heard of the Fairchild Channel F, but never had the pleasure of playing one. Plus, it's a gaming system that's actually older than me. By a whole year.
