Decades Of Influence quiz - Pacman question

I don't know if it is already discussed, but I saw a question in the quiz and got confused.

Question:
Where did you first play it?
Answer:
A) On an arcade or bar cabinet
B) Emulated on my PC
C) I bought it in a retro game pack
D) The crappy Atari 2600 version

Wasn't there a DOS version of the game? I remember playing it on my PC and it was not emulation (yet there were no game emulators then, we were playing directly from the DOS).
