Photoshop questions...HELP!!!
Hi all,
It's been years since I've worked with photoshop and I've got some time on my hands and have started to do some collages of old screenies for my toons and want to do some for my friends as well. Here is my question: Is there a way to resize a layer??? I want to make an layer image appear larger than the other items. Also, is there a way to copy/save a layer image so I can reuse it on another image later? Thank you so much for any assistance you can give me. |

I'm sure there must be abetter way to accomplish this but this is what I would do:
Create a new file, drag the said layer to the new file and then resize the image (maybe?). Also once it is in the new file just go ahead and save it - he default should be as a photoshop file so you can use it whenever you like. 'Course - I'm not really that great with Photoshop so maybe someone else can offer better solutions. |

<3 Roxianna !! Thank you so much for the screenshot. Makes it alot easier to see that kind of stuff. I am so happy to have a good group to turn to for this type of stuff.
I'm a bit slow, but I'm a semi-perfectionist. I really need to get myself a tablet..using a mouse for this stuff bites the big one. **UPDATE** PROJECT FINISHED!!! YAY!!! http://img177.imageshack.us/img177/8...ofchainwq1.jpg or check the gallery here under Ama-Ebi Ogata.

Thank you
![]() I'm still fine tuning the image. A perfectionist rarely calls it truly 'finished'. It still amazes me to see what computers can do now. Yeah, this will age me a bit. I recall learning DOS in high school and HATING computers. It was boring and uncreative. When I was a kid, video games were pong, and pole position (that was kinda cool actually!). Roxianna has started a group called 'the pixelators' which is dedicated to photoshop lovers. Take a look there now and then for more artwork.
