X-Wing Series
Did you ever play the X-Wing series games for DOS and Windows? X-Wing, TIE Fighter, X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter, X-Wing Alliance? Did you like them? Would you like to see them make a comeback?

Tell LucasArts how you feel. At 185 replies and 13 pages, this thread is the one they direct everyone to on their boards when they lock all threads mentioning the X-Wing series.

Bump the hell out of this thing. Tell them you still want this game series to continue!

Sure there have been petitions over the years, but they're apparently really good at ignoring those.

One of my three biggest "Boooyah!!!" moments involving PC games will always be Darth Vader complimenting me over the comm after a very hectic mission flying escort to his TIE-Advanced. Screw Mon Mothma and her Cresent or Palantine and his cough spittle all over my medal. This was the big guy himself giving me praise from the front-line!

Loved the series, still think they should've added an option to team multi-play with a single Correlian Freighter.

You got my vote :-)

Might be cool to see a much updated version of this series. But then again, how different will space look in HD? haha.

Nah, it would be cool. That is a great series.

Two words for you about space in HD: Mass Effect. The "galactic landscapes" on the star map looked GORGEOUS.

But yeah, I would love another X-Wing game, particularly one that introduces some campaigns from the Clone era.

One of my all time favorites is Tie Fighter Gold. My 1st PC Game was X-Wing. I would like to see an updated version.

I'm certainly in favor of bringing this sort of thing back, however, what are the chances with the KOTOR MMO coming out now? Obviously they're a huge studio, but I don't think they're going to divide their attention in such a precarious position.

Loved these to death, missed out on Alliance but X-Wing vs TIE Fighter was one of my favorite games to play over the net in high school. Used to have a slick lil' joystick I bought JUST for XWvT (well, and Red Baron 3D). Right now closest thing we have to a modern version is SW:BF2 which is a very dumbed down version of the awesome battles we used to have.

I've been wanting a new space fighter game for a while myself, and a new episode in this series would be an obvious fit.

(I a Wing Commander game for a few minutes, but after I got used to the above, and it just didn't do it for me.
Sprite space ships instead of 3D models looked pretty bad in my eyes, although I admit I would've given it more of a chance if I played it before the X-Wing series.)

I've played all the games, and had fun playing each.
I never got very good, and although my friends (enemies) did, but it was still lots of fun flying in space, managing my ELS.
There's a small note about future games here, but it's old, and doesn't paint a very bright picture.
I haven't read anything official about plans in other sources either.
