I'm starting a new thread because the original one is almost three months old, and I don't want to get in trouble for necroposting.

So I've completed a lot of the songs on 4-button mode and decided to get some practice in on 5-button and Xtreme (god, I wish people wouldn't neglect the opening E!) Challenge modes, and I have a question that's been bugging me all day:

How exactly do the "Fever" challenges work? I've tried using Fever the number of times specified, used it more than twice, not used it at all, and still failed.
