The real question is "What would have happened if it had NOT crossed the road?"

'For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.' Was the chickens movement that action, or reaction? If so what was it reacting to/from?

Motivation: Why did it move?
Why was it near the road to begin with?
Could the action/reaction be done by another animal?
Was the chicken a victim of circumstance or was the chicken targeted for this bold move deliberately?

Result: What happened afterwards?
Where the end's worth the means to achieve it?
Was the chicken rewarded for its participation appropriately?
Was the chicken awarded any compensation for injures received?

The Collected Data: Can the information be used in any significant was for same/similar future events?
Can this information be used to PREVENT future chicken & road incidents?
