ZUNE vs ipod
(i thought id start a debate now rather than wait)
Zunes blow ipods out of the water. Zunes from the hardware to the software rock. Ive never had a problem with anything regaurding my zune. Whereas ive heard the itoons software is hard to navigate and ipods in general are simply lame to me. Thoughts? |

I've never felt the need to switch to a Zune. Actually even bought a new ipod after the release of zune. I don't like itunes that much, but the ipod is ease itself. Small, slick, incredibly easy to use.

Old generation iPod Nano's can be reformatted to run Linux and can even boot a virtual machine image when hooked up to a windows system. When a Zune can do that, it'll win.

hardware looks pretty much similar to an ipod. I've never actually seen one though, just looking at some pictures.

I love my Itouch!!!! I tried out all different types of MP3 players and the itouch was just too pwnage. I didn't get an Iphone because I have a horrible habit of losing/destroying my cell phones, and my portable music players live forever

Let me put it this way.
I recently replaced the car stereo in two cars (well, a car and a truck). One is a nice high end head unit (Alpine), the other is as cheap as it can be (Sony). Both head units have an option to purchase a $20 cable and plug in an iPod. Did I specifically search for head units that supported iPod? No. I don't even have one. It just came standard. If you're going to buy a proprietary product, get the one that's most popular. |

nothing from ipod has ever complicated me. the ipods are probably as simple to use as zunes, hardware wise. but ive heard bad things about itunes, customer service, etc.
