Exclamation Linking WoW Items into a Forum
I know not too long ago I saw a comment about the code to link a WoW item when you mouseover the name. I have searched and searched and have had no luck so now I will post.

The idea in my head is to have an attendance and loot forum, and in there, list the people that attended and the items looted. I could easily type the name of the item but I'd like to be able to have it displayed.

Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks!

Use the [item] BBcode.

So while putting these items in the forum, there are certain ones that basically throw code onto my page where it shouldn't be. I have provided a link to what I am refering to. http://www.guildcafe.com/GuildThread...1478&r=0#post0

When I try to edit the thread, I still get the code coming out of certain items but then also all the item links turn into visited links and they no longer have the hover effect. I've had to recreate the same thread about 5 times and I still get the same results.

Is there anything that can be done with this?

it's apparently type [*item]itemname[*/item] without the asterisks.
