Figured I might aswell ask, but are these new "achievements" part of the new patch that's going (Has gone?) live today? I suppose I could've waited for the patch notes but.. meh.

Not sure. I have made an early assumption that they have to do with what parts of the site you have "completed", like filling out the questionnaires, etc.

A few guesses:
  • Dotting the I's: related to one of the personality tests.
  • Crossing the T's: related to the other test.
  • Chattering Class: related to filling out attitudes, maybe?
  • Picture Pager: definately related to having uploaded images, in some fashion.
  • Been There, Done That: having many games in one's profile, perhaps?
  • Prolific Poser (sic): related to forum posing count, perhaps?

Well, I can now -- after finding a bit more information appeared on my profile page -- say that three of the above are definitely incorrect. Dotting and Crossing are related to profile information filled out. And I did not get an achievement for completing all the attitudes, so that one was wrong too.

Odd, I feel like I should have been there/done that, but I guess it only triggers off of games you don't play any more. And the six hundred million games I used to play are all single-player, so not listed.

...and the achievement badges pushed me over the limit into famous status. It feels too much like cheating.

I feel kind of dirty now.

You know what? I don't have a problem with that.

I'm doing the OCD thing and attempting to trigger a few of these. Same as tekhedd, however, I'm drawing a blank on BD/DD. And I added 12 games, just to be on the safe side!

Maybe I'll add a few more... adding everything I've actually played would take all night. And then some.
