Long URL support in comments
This is really a tiny problem but I thought it might help to mention it anyway. Some sites have stupidly long URLs and they break when you post comments to articles on guildcafe.

For example

http://www.guildcafe.com/Favorite/Ga...h e_MMO_Genre

and

http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/games/ar...al_worlds.html

These are so long that they go all funny and break when posting a comment, tinyurl is a fairly simple work around to this but it would be nice if like the forum these long urls were automatically shortend.

Hmm not totally sure what went wrong but it seems even my tinyurl is broken, the code that automatically makes urls be set in italics seems wrong.
