it's a game launched in 2003 I believe..
it got a single player mode, where you play someone who become jedi from the start. And depending what decisions you make, you end up being a light or dark side jedi.

There is also a multiplayer mode, which I play sometimes. It's map where you are a jedi and pvp all the time.

Similar to games like, FPS, But instead of having guns, you have a lightsaber. (guns are also available on some maps where you can switch from lightsaber to guns)

It's a good game if you like Star Wars. It shows many side of the jedi universe.

Here's the wiki for it:

I played from launch for about a year. After beating the entire world in duels and power duels on BWN and other non-ranked servers, I retired

Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy is a First Person Shooter so this topic isn't in the proper forum.

Anyway, yeah I used to play Jedi Academy.
I lead the DJM clan (Siege game mode) for this game. We were around during the first 3 months or so and then quit when we realized there was no competition whatsoever. Played roughly 70 matches, didn't lose a single one. Our public server used to be the most popular server for Siege players in Europe, it was always full

It's a good game, although it suffered from lag and bugs.
In a way I liked Jedi Knight 2 more, especially it's singleplayer offerings.
