I've played CS on and off (taking some huge breaks) since its alpha stages. What I like about CS is its weapon combat. Aiming is more skill then luck, as seen with random spray patterns in other FPS games like Battlefield.

I think Source is the better game simply because I view it as a more refined version of the original.

I personally enjoy 1.6 the most just because it isnt as intense on graphics and allows more people to play on it. The thing I wish that we could improve is the hackers, to many kids that dont know how to play games.

One mod that was really hot a few years back was Vampire Slayer. God how I wish support hadn't died for the mod as it was really starting to pick up steam (no pun intended -_-), especially in Europe. There is still a very small community that play the game and anyone who loves bhopping will enjoy vampires immensely.

I started CS back in beta 7. I prefer 1.6 over Source. I usually only play on the CSG servers which includes a GunGame, Scoutzknivez, Iceworld(meh), D1/D2, and D2 w/ AWP. Mainly just GunGame though, as it is the most fun. If you really miss the bhop that much then try a Scoutzknivez server, the things you can do with low grav are so fun.

Started with beta 7.1 and played through all of them... No particular favourite...

Found a pretty sweet article highlighting videos and a history of CS. Watching some of those guys with an AWP reminds me of how good I was in my prime.
