I've played the demo a few times, and other than a few big scares have really enjoyed it so far. Only played single player so far, but trying to get a few friends to give it a try with. The AI though is surprisingly good, only one time have I died while playing through on normal difficulty, and that was when I got too far ahead and woke up a witch.

One thing I do not like is the way some of the unique zombies can pin you down and you can do absolutely nothing while they kill you. I know it is meant to be a team game and your teammates are supposed to save you but there should be something you can do to either free yourself or at least slow down the killing. When playing with other "live" bodies sometimes they just run off and you can do nothing but watch yourself die.

I cannot wait to play this either. My roomate and I played the demo the moment it came out. He played single player before I had gotten a chance to see it but the co-op plays amazingly and the difficulty curve is great when you play with more real players.

Valve seems to have done it again.

It actually isn't, though. I've gotten on many random servers and easily defeated the Tank, even on Expert. The guy is so big all four of you can just spray away and take him down. It takes roughly two clips from each person to drop him, so if you stay your distance, you should be fine.

It's really the hordes of zombies that provide more of a problem, as you'll hit your teammates often.

...and after playing the demo, I think I might eventually get the game, it's so good! Yay Valve!
