openid... how?
Stupid question: linking my (multiple) OpenID ids to an existing account? How?
Thanks much. Peace and freedom. |

I think (assumed) it's a matter of either or.
I signed up with a gDNA account before the OpenID system was added. Actually I never use my OpenID account, would have to look up the info, but I guess it would be nice to be able to change to that and make proper use of it.

I'm not 100% sure that we've flipped the switch to be both an OpenID provider and an OpenID compatible site - I'll confirm with ChangeAgent about this, stay tuned.

I set up an OpenID delegate on my homepage, so I can point my home page to whichever OpenID provider I have access to that I feel like using (as it happens, right now it's linked to my LiveJournal account). My homepage URL is never going to change, and it's close to my normal online username so I'm willing to use it on sites like StackOverflow that only accept OpenID.

Scratch that - we are, in fact, an openID provider - I just confirmed it with ChangeAgent

Well, that's interesting. So now I have four OpenIDs to track.
I'm still not clear how I can log in to this account using OpenID. Maybe I'll just try it. [edit]That did it. It's too easy. I think this is the first site I've tried where it worked on the first try... once I tried it, of course. (Had to update my delegates though... you don't support 2.0 yet?) Thanks, and sorry to bug you.
