What was the first Sports game you played?
Mine was Tecmo Super Bowl for NES. I love that game.

What qualifies as a sports game? One could classify Pong as a sports game, being a dumbed down version of ping pong. So if that's the case, my first sports game would have been Pong.

Aside from that, probably Track and Field with the track pad for the NES. Come to think of it...duck hunting is a sport...so Duck Hunt would have come before Track and Field for me.

Good point, if Duck Hunt counts, that's definitely mine. I was thinking "modern team sports", so baseball, american football, soccer, basketball, or hockey.

Yeah, we can argue Pong was the first for a lot of usback in the day. For "modern" team oriented games, I think it was Great Baseball for the Sega Master System.
