Oh, my goodness - There are no CPU sliders in Madden09. That's crazy, especially since some of the early reviews have taken time to note that the CPU players seem to be over-the-top accurate...

Madden + friends always gets me excited. Not in that way. Well, I guess that depends on which friends, but that's not the point.

Yeah, I guess I'm... no sorry, I believe I'm sort of glad, but probably not actually excited as such.

I heard it'll ship with the Packers' jersey but EA will offer for download a replacement cover of him with a Jet's jersey instead.

The achievements for this year's Madden 09 (for the 360) are very easy. I thought after last year's easy cheevos they'd tough'en up some. No complaints --- another easy 1K!

I played this for the first time last night and all I can say is WOW. This is the best Madden game to date. I normally don't get excited by these games. I enjoy the Madden series, but this game is simply amazing. There are so many things done right that its simply amazing. They did an outstanding job with this game. Some things I have seen and enjoy so far are....

1) Outstanding Presentation
2) Best visuals ever
3) Gametracker is VERY COOL
4) The animations are very good and you can almost feel the hard hits.
5) Injury display is pretty neat.
6) The Madden trainer is very nice. I like having my own skill level setting.

I have only played one game so I have not gotten to in depth yet, but those were some things I noticed in my initial play. This is definetly worth buying.

I love football and I bought the new Madden 09 and I really don't like it. I love the NCAA though, but not this years Madden. Oh well, maybe next year. I wasted $60.

Madden is better than it was, but still has a way to go. Personally, my favorite Madden was 06 on Xbox. I hate to say it, but I still love ESPN NFL 2k5. There are some nifty user applications that you can use to make the season up-to-date.
