At long last, the ultimate vehicle game!
ITs been years in development, switched hands more than once, been revamped twice, and finally they can now bring us the ultimate vehicle game....
http://www.eurotrucksimulator.com/ Thats right, Euro Truck Simulator. Okay, seriously, this game is purely for people who exclusively play MS Flight Sim and need new thrills and spills, but couldn't get into GTA 4. You get to hual freight and cargo through Europe in 'REAL TIME' down real roads that have been imported via GPS, and AuroRoute (a route planner for cargo hauliers). The only reason people would play this game instead of gettng a job AS A TRUCKER, is the fact most people have trouble with the standard 5-6 gears in cars these days. You tell some people trucks have 18 of the buggers, and they have heart attacks. However, best fortify the server and back-up the forums just in case anyone boring enough bothers to buy this and share their experiences with us all. |

In real time. They're serious.
I guess that's kind of cool, actually. |

Sadly, I jokingly mentioned it to my dad. He got all excited since he's well, a retired trucker that loves playing the MS Flight simulators. I guess he's the target audience?

Yup. Mate of my family is a truck driver over Europe. I showed him the website at Christmas, and he just laughed his arse off.
All he said was "What about the Ferries." Apparently, you only use a truck to move stuff long distance if your land locked, otherwise you get on a Ferry, and take a 4 - 8 hour nap. |
