Been listening to bladeradio pretty regularly now. It's cut down on my progress because I can't resist a dance party. lol

Otherwise I'm chattin' it up with my friends on vent.

Either way, it's not really outside the game.

I'm doing three or more of those any time I play. Total emersion is dangerous to me because I veg out and forget the world existes.

I recently put a TV near my computer, mainly because of this forum; and began watching it while playing computer games. It makes it harder to focus at some points, especially if the show is really fascinating. In that case I am either focusing on the TV or I'm focusing purely on the game. After I got used to it is not as bad you can tune the TV in or out as you play, but sometimes you just look up at the TV then look back down to find yourself dead. Idk if I'll keep the setup, but this is my experience with it.

I'm not as hardcore as some people are. When I'm playing non-stop to try and get my rank up, or to make sure I'm online when someone else is I usually have the TV on in the background or a GameInformer magazine by my side, and I ALWAYS have my own music playing. That's why I always set dialog to subtitles or I have MSN/AOL open.
